Day 01: Kochi to Munnar (via Athirappilly Waterfalls)
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive from Kochi to Munnar, which takes around 4–5 hours. On the way, stop at the breathtaking Athirappilly Waterfalls, known as the “Niagara of India,” and enjoy the beautiful views surrounded by lush greenery. Continue your journey through the winding mountain roads to reach Munnar. If time allows, you can visit the botanical garden before checking into your hotel for a relaxing evening and overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 02: Munnar Local Sightseeing
Spend the entire day exploring the natural beauty of Munnar. Start with a visit to Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and offering panoramic views of the Western Ghats. Proceed to Mattupetty Dam for a boat ride, then visit Echo Point to experience its natural echo effect. Enjoy the calm surroundings of Kundala Lake and explore the Tea Museum to learn about the region’s tea heritage. Later, walk through the lush tea estates and visit Lakkam Waterfalls, Photo Point, Rose Garden, and the Tea Station before returning to your hotel for the night.
Day 03: Munnar to Thekkady (Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Thekkady, a journey of about 3–4 hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up before visiting the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake, where you may spot elephants, bison, and various bird species. In the afternoon, explore a spice plantation to learn about Kerala’s famous spices. In the evening, you can enjoy a traditional Kalaripayattu martial arts show or a Kathakali dance drama. Overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 04: Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast, head from Thekkady to Alleppey, the heart of Kerala’s backwaters. On arrival, board a traditional houseboat and begin your serene cruise through palm-fringed canals, paddy fields, and tranquil villages. Enjoy freshly prepared Kerala meals on board, relax, and take in the beautiful scenery as the boat floats peacefully through the backwaters. Witness a stunning sunset in the evening before settling in for an overnight stay
Day 05: Alleppey to Varkala- stay Kovalam
After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and proceed to Varkala, a beautiful coastal town. Then Visit Jatayu earth Center and Spend the day relaxing at Varkala Beach, walking along the famous Varkala Cliff lined with cafés and shops, and enjoying the peaceful seaside atmosphere. Unwind by the beach and soak in the views before settling in for the night in Kovalam.
Day 06: Varkala to Kovalam
After breakfast, drive to Kovalam. En route, visit the iconic Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Trivandrum, known for its architectural brilliance and spiritual significance. Later, head toward Kovalam to visit Hawa Beach and the Lighthouse Beach, where you can enjoy scenic views of the coastline. Spend the evening relaxing by the beach before your overnight stay in Kovalam.
Day 07: Kovalam to kanyakumari Departure
After breakfast, check out and proceed to kanyakumari for your departure. Depending on your flight or train schedule, you will be dropped railway station, marking the end of your memorable Kerala journey.
